I first saw the Sacred Vanda Papilionantheteres orchid while staying at the Golden Rock Inn in Nevis. To compose this painting, I’ve used the Fibonacci sequence as the flowers spiral clockwise down to the bottom flower. The color intensity of the flower also decreases as it descends. This orchid is aptly named Sacred Vanda.
