Nevisian Snowflake

The Nevis Botanical Gardens on the island of Nevis is an oasis full of orchids of all varieties. These white Dendrobium orchids were so delicate, yet they jumped out energetically from the dark background. It was snowing in Toronto when I was visiting the gardens which I found rather ironic. So, it seemed only natural to call this painting Nevisian Snowflakes.
