All of these paintings speak of my journey of growth through life, one painting literally titled ”New Growth” uses oil paints and colorful forms to capture growth through the abstract lens of mold. While others have a distaste for mold to me it brings life, born anew, it may smell but it only speaks tales of adversity come to an end. How can something new and beautiful come from something so putrid and smelly? That's usually how it happens when you think about it. What I may have gone through may be akin to mold but the growth it will bring when it breaks down through the song of time will be unlike anything seen before.
