Night does not arrive all at once. It moves slowly across the landscape, gathering in corners and shadows as the warmth of the day recedes. For a brief period, both exist at once: the last traces of daylight suspended inside something already becoming dark.

Night Migration explores this gradual exchange, the almost imperceptible movement from one state into another. There is something both eerie and peaceful about this hour, when the familiar world begins to change and our perception of it changes too.

It is a threshold we pass through every day, yet rarely notice happening. There is no precise moment when day becomes night. One simply gives way to the other, colour and light continually shifting until we look around and realize we have arrived somewhere new.
