Ode to Jackson

I channelled, studied, and meditated to embody Jackson Pollock’s spirit and learned everything about him to reach the flow state of mind before starting this piece. Once I was able to feel him from within I began my painting process. I used what supplies were given to me by the streets of nyc. Newly sober and a zest for life. I pushed through and was able to honor the man that my father was granted his award. The award which fed me as a child during hard times. To help fuel my father’s work and keep a legacy continuing so that true abstract art will never stop and the infinite universe lies within our veins to be witnessed and treasured.
