"Overlord Mountain with Fissile Peak" captures the magnificent iconic mountain visible from Whistler, BC. Overlord Mountain is the highpoint of the Fitzimmons Range south of Whistler BC. in Garibaldi Provincial Park. The original inspiration was a photo that I took while skiing 7th Heaven Blackcomb on mountain.

This original oil painting was created using a monochromatic style. Painted with Prussian blue and titanium white the painting gives a cool crisp feeling.
