This piece is all about resilience. I painted this twisted pine to represent the beauty of strength — how something can be weathered by time and still stand tall with grace. The landscape is built from bold, jagged brushstrokes in saturated blues, purples, and golds, layered with expressive texture and movement. I wanted the rocks to feel alive, almost like stained glass, reflecting the tree’s unshakable energy. The sky, with its soft purples and glowing yellow horizon, adds contrast and calm.
