Hanji (korean traditional paper) collage on wood panel.

30x30x1.50"

As a child, I discovered a unique technique of drawing lines with water and tearing to reveal the soft edges of Hanji, Korean traditional handmade paper. This inspired my lifelong passion for Hanji Collage, a practice I pursue alongside my representational paintings. Inspired by Korean patchwork quilts, my Hanji collage explores the harmony of distinct pieces uniting into a beautiful whole, embodying my artistry and cultural heritage.
