Purple symbolizes many things including creativity, wisdom, spirituality, and ambition. Depending on the shade, it can represent magic and mystery. As a synesthete I perceive purple as a hue that hovers above the earth's surface but is still within grasp. Purple is also very quenching to the inner thirst and senses.
