This particular art piece about the redhead crane has taken me approximately 6 months to completely render it professionally. I studied how the bird behaves and also studied the photographs and examined its physical anatomy before I was able to put everything down on paper. Notice the details of the color texture of the body was done by very careful articulation of the markers and pens.
