“Refresh” explores the figure through layers of colour, texture, and obscured form. A solitary presence emerges behind vertical passages that move across the surface, creating the impression of water, rain, or something seen through a shifting veil.

Blues, teals, whites, and deeper neutral tones flow vertically through the composition. Layered texture and resin create depth and movement, allowing the figure to appear and disappear depending on where the eye settles.

Rather than fully revealing the subject, the painting allows atmosphere to shape what is seen. The relationship between figure, surface, and surrounding movement creates a quieter space for observation and interpretation.

As part of the Cubi-Seren branch of the CubiFusion Collection, Refresh reflects BriN.’s exploration of atmosphere, stillness, observation, and the transition from what is seen to what is felt.
