**REVERENCE**

*2010 · Acrylic on Canvas · 31.5 × 39.5 in.*

A bold, fiery expressionist portrait of a lioness in motion, *Reverence* captures a moment of instinct, grace, and sacred connection. Moving through the savanna, her intense gaze is fixed ahead while her posture suggests humility and reverence.

Rather than bowing to prey, she bows toward the light—the sun that sustains life and the inner fire that guides her path. Vibrant, glowing tones create a sense of movement and intensity throughout the composition.

The lioness serves as a recurring spiritual totem in Victoria Lynn's work, representing strength, inner truth, and ancestral memory.
