Roadrunner 1q is an abstraction of a tiny detail of a reflection in the fountain at Lincoln Center in NYC, representing about 4 square inches of the actual surface of the water in the fountain’s reflecting pool, which when I saw it was reminiscent to me of the famous Roadrunner cartoon character in Warner Brothers Loony Toons cartoons of the 1960’s-80’s
