This painting depicts a place where Lena (she/her), living with Hashimoto's thyroiditis and ADHD, goes to heal. She pictures the Adriatic and "pine covered dry mountains with white rock and turquoise, deep blue water. It’s dry heat with a breeze. The beach is covered in little round pebbles that massage your feet. My hair is wavy and tastes salty. "
