I’ve been going to Silver Lake with my family since I was a kid. The point overlooking the lake is a popular viewing spot, and one I keep coming back to.

This painting is part of an ongoing project focused on Ontario’s provincial parks and the pull certain places have on us. Not landmarks so much as places that stay with you.

I think we all have that place where we feel deeply connected to, almost spiritually.
