Spice uses Shin Noodle paper to explore cultural hybridization, how cultures blend and transform when people migrate. It's part of my 2024 series, in which I'm investigating my Jamaican family's stories and what their migrations have meant across generations. Through this piece, I'm asking what happens when cultures meet, mix, and become something new, which is what spice does.
