Acrylic on canvas.

Inspired by the Beatles and my close friend.
My art is deeply connected to my personal story. I have lived in many places all over the world: Africa, Europe and Americas. All these places inspire me as an artiste.
Being a social anthropologist by profession, I try to express nuances that stay behind the scenes of my work on social struggles. I am based in Montreal, but continue to travel regularly.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
Impulsive gestures of the brush and play of coulures are spontaneously transformed into a painting that captures instantly a moment of love, anger, hate, joy, sadness...
Emotions are in the heart of my art... In some paintings, there is a lot of violence and pain while others transcend internal peace.
