This original painting was done on gessoed wood panel. Inspired by the bravery freedom fighters of Ukraine. The sunflower is the symbol of this country, and I created this piece of solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
The painting has a bright orange underpainting, which adds warmth and interest. The painting has texture, and is done in a semiabstract Impressionistic style.
