White-crested ocean waves catch a sailboat, sweeping it forward, or they crash against a hull that seems too fragile to survive. The waves can repeat in patterns or break like a crash of cymbals. In my sailing days, this rhythm could be either exhilarating or terrifying. No matter how it felt, the power and beauty of the ocean was always present. A textured and multi-layered piece.
