By incorporating Bridget Riley's creation of optical illusion through shapes and the influence of John Franzen's use of continuous line to demonstrate fluidity of movement, TEXTILE PAINTING- CIRCULARS adopts the textile material of multi-coloured yarn to mimic and simulate paint. In doing so, the look of "textile painting is created. The painterly strands capture the unrestricted cascades, drips and flows amongst the circular shapes.
