The Demise of Venus

Inspired by the painting "The Birth of Venus" by Sandro Botticelli. Venus being the Roman goddess of love, beauty, fertility, and victory, this was a juxtaposition to the original painting featuring an ending versus beginning. I have always had a great appreciation of the Renaissance and Baroque paintings so it was fun to gain inspiration and study from those works.
