In Japanese, “kokoro” (心) embodies the essence of “heart,” “mind,” and “spirit.” It captures the profound depths of a person’s innermost feelings, emotions, and thoughts, reflecting the true essence of their being. In Japanese culture, kokoro is a beacon of sincerity, empathy, and the rich emotional tapestry of human experience. Heart: “Kokoro” signifies not just the physical organ but resonates as the metaphorical heart, representing our deepest feelings and emotions. I tried to resemble the look of deep feeling and emotion with fictional women I imagined. This time, I played with glow-in-the-dark paint again, and UV light showed the green neon hair matching the base hair in blue. ____________________ A trembling leaf in quiet air, It stirs with joy, it aches with care. The beat behind a silent tear, The warmth of someone drawing near. In love, it blooms, in loss, it sighs, It holds the truth behind our lies. No words to speak, no voice to chart— Yet all is known within the heart. By Wei In Sight (Jacky Ho) ____________________
