These are my thoughts around Isabel McLaughlin's youngest sister Eleanor fondly called by family and friends "Billy".
Constructing from history and stories Eleanor most certainly looked up to her older sister Isabel. I imagined their relationship and imaginary play prompted by reading Dr Doolitte which was published in 1920. Eleanor would have been 12, I also read this book also at the age of 12.
