“The Ice Refuses — The Ice Starts Talking” became increasingly suspicious after the gallery lights dimmed each evening. By the second install night, rumours began circulating that it was quietly narrating its own mythology after everyone left. Cold, intelligent, and slightly confrontational, it carried the energy of something ancient that has finally decided it’s done remaining silent. Other paintings respected it, but from a distance.
