This painting sits in the space between holding on and letting go.
As our sons step into their own lives, I find myself living inside a long, quiet goodbye. It is tender and proud at the same time. We have grown together, weathered hard seasons, and now stand at the edge of a new chapter.
There is loss in the distance, but also gratitude, strength, and anticipation for what comes next. This work holds that tension, the ache of change and the beauty of watching those you love step forward into their own lives.
