My painting captures the nostalgic feeling of looking back at a cherished moment, either a childhood best friend, when you first met your partner, or anyone else dear to you. The faded look, which I achieved by glazing thin layers of acrylic paint and adding a low contrast, dusty pink background, captures the feeling of remembering an old but warm memory. It is a visual tribute to the promises that shape our lives, long after the moment has passed.
