Created by hand, scratching metal tools along the surface to remove the black ink and reveal the white clay layer underneath. Colour is then added by painting coloured ink on the porous white clay surface. Based on the plight of orangutans experiencing habitat loss in Borneo due to palm oil plantations and other deforestation projects.
