A person mesmerizing people with his skills
Originally from Seine & Marne (77), France, and currently based in Montreal, QC, Chris Tartist is a self-taught artist passionate about colors. This involves painting, photography and fashion.
Since his early childhood, he has had this need to write and create, spending a lot of time in museums and art galleries in Europe, especially in Paris.
It was in 2017 that he discovered the world of textiles and met many fashion designers. It was also that year that he began his first acrylic paintings and it was the beginning of a beautiful love affair with the visual arts.
Chris seeks to tell stories through his art with a blend between his life and his imagination. Inspired by his surroundings, music, cinema, African and urban culture, his work is sober and colourful.
