This image displays a contemporary mixed-media collage combining paint, textured impasto, photography, and text fragments. The artwork utilizes strong minimalist design elements alongside rich symbolic texturing to explore themes of identity, royalty, and hidden history.
Making the crown out of text could represent how knowledge, literature, or recorded history forms a true crown of intellect and leadership.
By masking the silhouette's face with a photographic fragment, I highlighted the tension between how someone is perceived externally versus their private, internal reality.
