The image of the forest parted by the road exemplifies the complicated relationship we have with the Canadian landscape.

The unadulterated beauty of nature is often challenging to capture on a simple canvas, as the resonating memory is fragile. Inspired by the sun's rays after a summer storm at Bon Echo Provincial Park, the connection and reverence with the earth I felt at that moment is one I wanted to share with you.

The structural forms fragment the frame and instill movement, disrupting the conventional geometric configuration of wall-mounted artwork.
