Mixed media and epoxy on aluminum.

48x44"

“The Warm Winds of Nowhere” came from a feeling I couldn’t quite name—a kind of drifting, like being between places, between decisions, between versions of yourself. It’s that sensation of being untethered, but not necessarily lost. There’s something oddly comforting about it, like catching a warm wind you didn’t expect and letting it carry you for a while.

I used mixed media on aluminum because I wanted that contrast between the solid and the fluid. Aluminum feels grounded, almost industrial, but it also reflects light in this subtle way that adds movement. I layered different materials to create texture and tension—like thoughts overlapping, or feelings that don’t line up neatly. The epoxy finish adds depth and a sense of stillness, like sealing a fleeting moment before it disappears.

This piece isn’t about a specific place—it’s about the spaces in between. About being okay with not knowing what comes next. It’s a quiet exploration of restlessness, and the strange peace that sometimes comes with it.

Ready to hang.
