This series is inspired by people I grew up with in the orphanage. Some I remember clearly, others I don’t, but they all stayed with me in some way.

Through my work, I try to reimagine them using color and feeling, and bring those memories back to life.

Ti Malice was the first piece in my Afro Futures series and the starting point for this body of work. It was inspired by the innocence I tried to hold onto in the orphange growing up in Haiti.
