It’s a hot summer day on Georgian Bay and this Lilium lancifolium soaks up the sun. It’s not a Lilium columbianum which is native to North America so I suspect it was planted by a cottager. But it is beautiful just the same. The curve of orange petals with brown dots with the light shining on them caught my eye and makes the flower glow.
