This work presents a reinterpretation of the Dominican Cojuelo Devil through a figure of robotic and biomechanical appearance. The piece fuses traditional elements of the folkloric imaginary with a visual language of science fiction, transforming the classic character into an organic-technological warrior. The Name Devil, originally represented with an elaborate mask and a vibrant clothing, is here reimagined with a metallic armor of dynamic contours and mechanical structures that evoke gears, circuits and synthetic exoskeletons. Its wings, formed by what appear to be metal plates with circular details, suggest an evolution of the character towards a hybrid entity between the mythical and the futuristic. Instead of a burlesque or festive posture, the figure adopts an imposing and warrior presence, with robust limbs and an expression that conveys strength and determination. The color palette, dominated by dark and gray tones with deep blue accents, reinforces the feeling of an entity forged in a world of high technology and chaos. The expressionist strokes and the composition sprinkled with ink refer to the energy of a creative process driven by the fusion of the ancestral with the contemporary. This series of robotic organic warriors raises a reflection on the evolution of cultural symbols in the technological age, exploring how myths can be transformed into new visual forms without losing their essence.
