fall of 2020 Elena created four paintings of sunflowers. All four are square sized. Done on an abstract underpainting, some of this first layer you can see in the fluorescent orange on the petals, and the translucent and deep tones on the shadows. Painted by palette knife and brush with some textures underneath. It's a very popular square foot size, perfect as a Christmas gift for someone who loves sunflowers; the warmth of this flower cheer up your spirit.
