The canvas I bought my dad sat blank after his passing. He never got around to painting on it. My mom insisted I have it and then it sat blank in my room during an artist block. Finally, I gave myself the assignment to just use cool colors and the process was therapeutic. I finally got back to painting again and it brought me peace while remembering my dad.
