This painting depicts Madeleine-Zoé (they/them), a type 1 diabetic who's place of healing and recentring is the tundra. To recentre they picture themselves "sitting on top of a hill, legs dangling,overlooking the mountains in the distance. Breathing in the vastness. The space so wide it feels like your eyes could see forever."
