In Two Roses, I chose the simplicity of soft pink blooms and their long stems to reflect both delicacy and endurance.
Roses, often seen as symbols of love, here become emblems of freedom and resilience. The gentle hues embody tenderness, while the upright stems and unfolding leaves suggest persistence, growth, and the courage to reach beyond boundaries.
Within the Petals of Freedom collection, this work serves as a quiet yet powerful meditation: freedom is not only a struggle, but also a blossoming—fragile and strong, rooted and reaching. The roses invite the viewer to see beauty as a form of resistance, and to recognize how even the softest petals carry the weight of strength.
