I was inspired by a woman of color whom I would often see on the train during my morning commute to work. She was always quiet and carried herself with a natural sense of beauty and grace.

There was something beautiful about the way she existed so quietly and confidently, without seeking attention.

This work is my expression of that observation—the beauty of quietness, presence, and the kind of beauty that does not need to announce itself to be noticed.
