One night, during Covid, I had had enough. I had to get out of the house. I went to the beach. I thought I would be safe because there was no one around.

Because it was dark, I couldn't see very well so I just aimed my camera phone pretty much everywhere. It landed of all things on a trash can with the top of the black trash bag stretched on the tap of the can. The camera caught all sorts of angles and overlaps.

Even then, I knew we wouldn't really understand Covid until we got through it -- the same way I didn't really understand what I was looking at until I saw it in a photo.
