Stained glass and paint on aluminum.

38x38x1"

“What Dreams Are Made Of” began with a simple wondering—about what we chase, the stories we believe, and the moments where memory and imagination blur. I’m drawn to how dreams—both literal and symbolic—feel fragile yet persistent, always just out of reach but still shaping us.

I chose stained glass and aluminum for their contrast. Aluminum is solid and grounded; stained glass is delicate and ever-changing with the light. Together, they speak to the way dreams flicker between clarity and mystery.

Painting on aluminum added another layer—balancing intention and instinct, structure and spontaneity. Some parts are carefully planned, others left to chance—much like the nature of dreams themselves.

This piece is about longing, hope, and the quiet power of possibility. A reminder that even the most fleeting visions can stay with us.
I wanted to create something that invites viewers to pause and feel—maybe not to understand fully, but to recognize something true in the atmosphere of it. Something familiar and a little bit mysterious. Just like dreams.

Ready to hang.
