I wanted to capture that fleeting, magical moment of quiet wonder we so often miss in our busy lives.

The inspiration came from wanting to create on canvas, the untamed spirit of the forest. I chose to paint the woods in a semi-abstract style, using a rich palette of deep blues and cool tones for the fallen trees and shrubs. I wanted the forest to feel dreamlike and mysterious.

I painted the fox in fiery reds to create an intense visual contrast. He is looking up, completely captivated by something above him—perhaps the rays of morning sun, a shifting wind, or an intriguing scent. For me, his upward gaze represents hope, curiosity, and a reminder to always look up and find the beauty around us. This painting is a balance of vibrant energy and peaceful solitude.
