This painting is about an important teacher in my life. He possessed a "Zen Mind" and I've used abstract shapes and symbolic forms to create the often times surreal energy I felt when with him. Each geometric element represents a fragment of thought, and snippets of conversation, inviting the viewer to explore wisdom’s elusive pathways. The surface interplay of cool and warm tones radiates a vibrant tension to ignite the viewers curiosity and contemplation in any space. This painting transforms walls into windows of insight and imagination.
