Made with ephemera from both our lives, the vastness with small parts of my life symbolize how much my grandmother understood me when I felt alone. The times I felt gray or lost, she showed up with letters, stories, homemade cookies or wrapped dried leaves in a package. She was there in the voids. Made with her maps, her Chinese calendar, sewing pattern paper, fax header stickers, 1996 Thomas Guide page pieces, price tag, decal, with acrylic on canvas.
