**WITHOUT PRIDE**

*2010 · Acrylic on Canvas · 30 × 40 in.*

*Without Pride* emerged from a meditation on the true essence of power. A male lion fills the composition, his reclining body and powerful face rendered in luminous yellows, oranges, reds, and flame.

His eyes hold age, humility, and timeless sovereignty. Rather than depicting power through aggression or dominance, the painting explores strength expressed through stillness, presence, and restraint.

The lion represents a form of kingly energy rooted not in ego or posturing, but in service, wisdom, and reverence for the feminine and the sacred.
