My creative process is very intuitive, consciously engaging, and enjoying the moment of creation. When I work I love the idea that I do not worry about what is about, where is it going or how is it gonna be put together. I just wanna be in my present and feel alive. And yet I know that within me there is already an image I just have to bring it out by feeling it.

Joejene C. Santos is a Filipino artist who currently resides and practices in Ottawa, Canada. Joejene’s journey in the arts began with the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts in 1996 in the Philippines, a milestone that set the groundwork for his future artistic aspirations.
