This is an exaggeration version of Rockyview county AB. The fall is just gorgeous in our neighbourhood. Colours are so vibrant and have beautiful contrasts of burnt orange, umber and yellow ochre. I’ve used metallic silver to highlight the bark which shines so gracefully.

This is a painting made from a view in Rocky View County, Alberta. I drive by this every week when I go to visit my mom in Calgary. The open skies and open fields are just so interesting and stunning to me as a landscape artist. I find myself in admiration of beautiful province that we reside in.

These Eucalyptus trees have a special kind of gluey sap that's so colourful; it's hard to imagine that it's reality. It looks more like something out of James Cameron's Avatar:)

I am fond of wheat fields and dramatic skies and this piece represents both quite well. It’s somewhat abstract but realism has also been depicted with details.

This piece is created out of inspiration from our trip to Elbow falls, Alberta. The day was beautiful and a few clouds hanging around in interesting patterns. I noticed some rocks and the standing water had a unique colourful moss growing over it and some trees leaning on each other and hanging on for dear life. I had to paint it. It’s a ready to hang gallery wrapped canvas with continued painting on the sides of the frame.

This piece is made out of inspiration from our drive in Rocky View County, Alberta. We get such beautiful and unreal sunsets and sunrises. I was going to pick up my son and I noticed that the sunset looks like a flame of a candle or maybe wings of an angel, you might see something else in this composition. Little pieces of clouds were scattered in a symmetry and yet looked like a flock of birds. This is such a vibrant piece and I’ve used metallic colours to add a little more spice. These Hollyhocks are created in Plein Air. We never planted the seeds and yet the resilience of nature started to sprout. I painted these in my yard. Dark violet and a hint of light highlights with yellow middle, honestly this piece speaks poetry of nature. It’s a gallery wrapped, ready to hang piece with the sides painted as well. The picture of this art doesn’t do justice, it’s so much more in real life.

This is a gallery wrapped, ready to hang piece with the sides painted as well. This piece is made out of inspiration from one of my most favourite artists from the past, Van Gogh. I love irises in general and especially this is a beautiful reminder of Van Gogh in my own style. This piece is textured as well. Pallet knife was used for creating this work. The colours are so soft and yet bright. It’s so pleasing to the eyes.

This is an amazing piece and would go well on a tall wall by itself or with the other piece which I have on the site as a pair. It’s a water fall with trees on the side and mountains in the background and the water falling over rocks is so serine. It’s a textured gallery wrapped, ready to hang piece. I’ve used my most favourite palette knife to create it. I hope that you enjoy this piece as much as I enjoyed the process of creating it.

The mountains are textured and have metallic silver to show the cool shine on them.
