I am Anjali Patel, I am an ardent artist by soul. Since childhood, art has been an important aspect of my life. Art defines my subtlety, my patience, and sometimes it is a medium to represent my inner conscience. Having studied fine arts in my college years I began practicing painting late.Now, I am finally able to revive my love for painting after a long break. I am able to overcome my introvert personality through art. Practicing painting has healed me psychologically and has helped me to overcome my depression. I wish to continue pursuing my passion for art and develop a delightful source of happiness through this mode.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I am an abstract artist, all my inspiration comes from day-to-day life. The experience of emotion one goes through every day. From happiness to sorrow, from failure to achievement, from blank to full of ideas, all these little experiences and emotions, help me create my art. They come out as a powerful inspiration for my work. I work with acrylic medium on canvas. I always prefer a palette knife over a brush, since all my painting has a dense color texture to it which I am fond of. I have recently started working with alcohol ink colors. But, I create a maximum of my art using acrylic colors.
