ARTIST’S STATEMENT
My goal is to transport viewers to the landscapes that have shaped my life. These paintings are born from recollections of time spent in nature, both monumental and everyday moments. This work is not merely about representing nature but about interpreting its emotional and spiritual impact through art. I invite the audience to experience these landscapes as I have experienced them—not just as places on a map, but as living, breathing spaces that resonate deeply with the human soul.
These paintings are not literal reproductions but rather interpretations filtered through the lens of memory, showing how nature leaves an indelible mark on our minds and spirits. The collection captures fleeting moments of light, texture, and form that embody the essence of Canada’s unique natural beauty.
