Born in Toronto but raised near Kempenfelt Bay, I am drawn to water and the varying landscapes of the northern Atlantic rim. Residencies in Newfoundland and Ireland as well as travels in Scotland, Iceland, Greenland and Canada’s high Arctic inspire and inform by work. Irish settler ancestry in the Ottawa valley may explain a fondness for poetry, fiddle music and the sea.
